The Golden Touch - Questions

Some say, "the best things in life are free: love, friends, health." Do you agree håller med?

Would the king (in this story) agree?

The king got gold just by touching things. But he was not happy. Why not? Give two reasons anledningar:

At first, the king wanted more gold. At the end of the story, he didn't. Why not?

If all you touched turned to gold, what would be good about that? 

What would it be bad about everything turning to gold?


"The goal mål of life is to get more and more valuable dyrbara things. He who has the most things when he dies wins." Do you agree? Why or why not?

A author forfattare  named Astrid Lindgren wrote books about Pippi Långstocking. She also wrote a book about a strange little man: "Karlsson on the Roof" Karlsson på taket. Karlsson says  (in the story above), "It's merely a worldly thing" "Det är bara en världslig sak".


What about the king? Was gold "merely a worldly thing" for him?

Did you ever wish for something önska något  — and then find that it was trouble? What?

If money grew on trees, you could pick it like apples from an apple tree. How would that change your life?
