L: No problem Mum. I can bring it to her.
M: Now listen: go straight to Granny’s house.
L: Yes Mum.
M: And don’t take a shortcut through the forest. You know the Wolf lives there.
L: Yes I know Mum. But you can trust me, I’m a big girl now. Bye-Bye!
M: Bye-bye!
[Little Red Riding Hood is walking with her basket. The Wolf comes.]
W: Hello there sweetheart! Where are you going?
L: I’m on my way to Granny. She is sick.
W: Why don’t you pick her some flowers then?
L: No Mum said I had to go straight to her house.
W: But some flowers are always nice to bring. Just walk in here
and soon you will find lots of nice flowers for your Granny!
[The wolf stands outside Grannys house.]
W: Knock, knock!
G: Who is it?
W: It is me, Little Red Riding Hood.
G: Oh, dear child. Come in, come in.
W: GRRRRR… I’m going to eat you old lady!
G: Help me!
[The wolf is in Granny's bed.]
L: Knock, Knock!
W: Who is it?
L: It is me, your granddaughter.
W: Come in and bring me the good stuff!!!
L: Oh, Granny, why are your eyes so big?
W: They are big so I can see you better.
L: But Granny, why are your ears so big?
W: They are big so I can hear you better.
L: I see, but why is the nose so big?
W: It’s big so I can smell you better.
L: But why is your mouth so big?
W: It’s big so I can eat you better. GRRRR!
[Outside the house, a hunter passes by. He hears the Wolf snoring.]
W: ZZZZZZZ!
H: Hmm, that old lady is snoring badly. She must be very sick.
I’d better check how she is.
W: ZZZZZZZ! Yam-yam! (He licks his mouth)
H: It is you, you bad, bad Wolf. I guess you have eaten the old woman up!
W: ZZZZZ! The girl really tasted good!
H: I have to help the poor old lady and the girl.
[Reaches behind the wolf, as if pulling something from behind his back.]
L: Hello! Thank you for helping me out.
G: Mr Hunter thank you for saving us.
H: I'm glad I could help!
