The Big Dog Bites
The hunting dog was a little dog, but he could hunt snakes, bugs, cats, rabbits and birds. He could chase cars, balls, and bikes. He did bite his ball, but he did not bite the snake, bug, rabbit, or bird. He did not bite the boy, girl, or the boy on the bike. He was a good dog.
The boy said to his little hunting dog, "You are a good dog. Catch the ball."
The little dog ran after the ball and caught it. He gave the ball to the boy. "What fun," said the boy.
"Yes, what fun," said the little dog.
Then the girl said, "You are a good dog. Catch the ball." The little dog ran after the ball and caught it. He gave the ball to the girl. "What fun," said the girl. 41
"Yes, what fun," said the little dog.
The girl said, "Catch the ball." The little dog ran after the ball, but the ball hit the grass and rolled down the street. The little dog ran after the ball. The boy and girl ran after the little dog. The cat and rabbit ran after the boy and girl. The bird went after the cat and rabbit. The bug did not run.
The ball rolled by cars. It rolled by houses. It rolled by trees. It rolled down the street very fast.
The little dog ran fast to catch the ball. The boy and girl ran fast to catch the little dog. The cat and rabbit ran fast to catch the boy and girl. The bird had to fly fast to catch the cat and rabbit.
Then something hit the little dog. The little dog rolled like a ball. A big, big, dog hit the little dog.
"Do not run by the house," said the big dog, and he bit the little dog, and it hurt.
"It hurts," said the little dog, and he ran. But the big dog could run faster, and he caught the little dog and bit him. "It hurts," said the little dog, and he ran.
"Do not bite the little dog," said the boy and girl, but the big dog bit the little dog. The big dog and the little dog rolled in the street. The little dog did not bite the big dog, but the big dog bit the little dog.
"Go home" the boy and girl said to the big dog, but the big dog did not go home. He bit the little dog, and it hurt.
The cat said to the big dog. "Do not bite the little dog," but the big dog bit the little dog. The cat was mad. The cat jumped on the big dog. The big dog jumped and ran. The cat bit him. It hurt! He ran very fast, but the cat ran faster.
"Do not bite. It hurts," said the big dog.
The cat said, "You hurt the little dog. Do not bite the little dog. "
"I will not bite the little dog," said the big dog. "I will play. I will roll on the grass, run in the street, and play with the ball".
They looked happy, the bird, the cat, the rabbit, the boy and girl, and the little dog. The little dog was very, very happy the big dog was not after him. The big dog was happy the cat was not after him. The cat was happy to see the dogs happy.
