Two Word Autobiopoem

Assessment: Students publish & share their finished two word autobiopoem.
Description: A great way for students to get to know one another during first few days of school. It also makes a great addition to any poetry unit. A two word biopoem could also be used to describe a character from a book or story.
Goals: Students communicate facts about themselves. Students appreciate poetry as a vehicle for communicating information.
Objectives: The learner introduces himself or herself by writing a poem about himself of herself with two words in each line of poem.
Materials: paper, pencil, an example written by teacher
Procedure:
Describe yourself to class. You may also tell about likes, dislikes, hobbies & needs.
Show your two word autobiopoem to class on overhead.
Read poem to students.
Have students note that each line begins with a capital. And that there is no punctuation in a two word poem.
After students read & discuss model, students write their own poems.

Write at least a paragraph stycke about one of the topics. One that is a little challenging utmanande and needs a little thinking. Don't get hung up on häng inte upp dig på the grammar grammatiken. Just do your best on getting everything down on paper. I am more interested in the contents innehåll.

"Frank's from New York. He always speaks English. He tells stories in class, plays games, and sings songs. English is fun! We read and write a lot too. He'll help you to speak, write, and read in English. In fact, you're reading in English right now! Frank's was first a teacher in California, then Washington DC, and now in Sweden. He's certified in Sweden to teach social science. In 1994 Frank wrote the book Holistisk pedagogik.

Hi! My name is Frank. I live with my wife Cajsa, my daughter Angelina, her rabbit Trollsam and her guinea pig Whirlwind.
My mother lives in New York. My brother lives in Irvington, near New York. My sister lives in New Jersey. She has two children.
My grandpa was from Texas, but he lived in New York. He died about 25 years ago. My grandmother lived in New York. She died about 20 years ago. My other grandfather lived in New York. He died about 40 years ago. My other grandmother lived in New York. She died about 30 years ago.
My cousin lives in Bronxville, near New York. He has two children.
My wife, my daughter, her pets, and I live in an apartment in Örebro.
In the living room there is a Macintosh computer, a projector, a purple sofa, a coffee table with a mirror top, a small round green table, four chairs, two guitars, a piano, a CD-player, some plants, and some candles.
Three of the walls are white and one is gray. On the walls there is a shelf, three paintings, two posters, and three mirrors. The curtains are blue and white. There are three lamps: a table lamp, a wall lamp and a ceiling lamp. There are two white mats on the floor.
In the kitchen there are many cupboards, a refrigerator with freezer, a stove, a sink, a dishwasher, two counters, a wooden table, four chairs, and some plants. Three of the walls are white and one is black. The curtains are yellow.
In my room there is a bed, four closets, and some plants. Three of the walls are white and one is purple. The curtains are blue. There is a small white mat on the floor.
In Angie’s room there is a black table with metal legs, a chair, a bed, a large closet, and a cage for her pets. The walls are red and black. On the walls there are two mirrors. The curtains are….

Outside I have a car, a gray Volvo V70, and a black bicycle. My wife and my daughter also have bicycles.
